About the Role
The Data & AI Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, interoperability and usability of data. The role involves working with complex data structures, integrating external sources, and enriching datasets for industry-specific AI applications. The engineer will also contribute to building conversational AI and query-driven models that enable users to ask complex questions and receive reliable answers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimise relational, graph and vector databases.
- Integrate and manage external data sources and APIs.
- Develop smart data structures and apply data augmentation.
- Build and fine-tune sector-specific AI models.
- Support conversational AI and advanced query infrastructure.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, AI, or equivalent.
- 4–8 years’ experience in data engineering, AI or ML.
- Strong knowledge of databases, data modelling and API integrations.
- Familiarity with interoperability standards and data licensing.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, and conversational AI.
