About the Role
As the company migrates from a legacy Linux infrastructure to a fully cloud-native environment in AWS, they’re looking for a SecOps Engineer to help design, implement, and maintain a modern security and monitoring framework across their platform.
This is a hands-on role, well suited to someone who thrives in greenfield environments and wants to take ownership of cloud security in a growing scale-up. You’ll work closely with the development team, the CEO, and product leadership to translate technical requirements into secure, scalable infrastructure, while keeping one eye on compliance and the other on proactive threat prevention.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement security and monitoring architecture for a cloud-native platform (AWS)
- Drive the migration of infrastructure from traditional Linux-based systems to containerized solutions using AWS ECS (Fargate)
- Set up and maintain security tooling, including intrusion detection, anomaly detection, and vulnerability scanning
- Improve log management and analysis
- Contribute to security policy development, including implementation of ISO27001-compliant practices
- Collaborate with Dev and Infra teams to embed security across the software lifecycle (DevSecOps)
- Support the rollout of code quality tooling in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain and improve secret management and secure deployment flows
