We offer an exceptional opportunity for an AI professional to own a role that combines freedom, creativity, and impact.

With us, you get the freedom to develop, test, and implement ideas – and the support of a skilled team around you.

If you are eager to turn AI concepts into real, production-level solutions, this is your chance to shape the future of building and built environment with us.

What your role will look like

In our AI team, you’ll turn ideas into real AI/ML solutions that make buildings more efficient and workflows smarter, not just experiment with algorithms.

You’ll turn prototypes into reliable products used by our experts and clients. Your work will span two fascinating areas:

  • Foundational model applications: helping machines truly understand engineering information, from drawings and diagrams to technical reports and calculations. Here, you’ll push the boundaries with agentic AI workflows.
  • Time series analytics: unlocking efficiency in building operations through forecasting, anomaly detection, and control insights that make energy use smarter.

You will partner with engineers, architects, consultants, and developers, bringing modern data/AI practices and a product mindset right into the heart of the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) domain and the energy sector.

What you’ll be doing day to day

  • Turn POCs into real services: building maintainable solutions with clear interfaces, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Shape foundational model applications: refine agentic AI workflows for engineering documents and create time series models that deliver operational insights.
  • Design pipelines that last: sensible data/ML pipelines, robust evaluation practices, and improvements in quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Bridge domains and technology: collaborate with experts to translate operational needs into scoping, backlogs, and deliverables.
  • Stay curious: explore new capabilities (agentic workflows, tool-use, MCP servers, open models), experiment thoughtfully, and bring the valuable ones into production.

Why this opportunity stands out

We’re shaping not just buildings, but the future of how they work. With decades of expertise and a clear digitalisation and growth strategy, we’re uniquely positioned to impact the built environment and energy sectors.

Perks and opportunities you’ll enjoy with us:

  • Freedom & flexibility. Shape your work and bring your ideas to life.
  • Impact. Apply AI in a field that is still conservative, where the potential for transformation is huge.
  • Personal growth. Stretch your skills, experiment with new technologies, and influence how AI is applied in practice.
  • Balance. Hybrid work model with flexibility; typically 2 days per week on-site, coworking options available.
  • International team with a Finnish twist. Our team works in English, flavored with a touch of Finnish openness, trust, and dry humor.

What makes us different is our culture: people stay here because they enjoy it. We combine the resources of a large company with the spirit of a close-knit team, where ideas are valued, collaboration comes naturally, and work-life balance is genuinely respected.

We are proud to be a state-of-the-art company in our field, combining decades of expertise with a forward-looking digital strategy and products. Our 50+ software professionals bring strong expertise to every project.

The future here looks bright – and you can play a key role in shaping it.

What we’re looking for:

  • A true hands-on AI/ML enthusiast, experienced in taking models from prototype to real-world impact.
  • Comfortable diving into Python, SQL, version control, basic testing/CI practices, and cloud platforms (we use Microsoft Azure) – you love making things work.
  • Curious and creative problem-solver who thrives on tackling challenges and turning ideas into reality.
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys sharing ideas, learning from others, and building solutions together.
  • Excited to explore new technologies and the built-environment domain; fluent in English and eager to grow.
