As a Regional Product Manager Power Transformer, you will act as the voice of the customer in your region, translating market needs into actionable strategies and ensuring successful product introductions. You will collaborate closely with global product managers and cross-functional teams to align regional initiatives with global strategies, driving competitiveness and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to analyze market trends, assess competitor activities, and influence future product developments. You will be a key contributor in ensuring that technical, regulatory, and customer requirements are met, while actively supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide insights and structured proposals to Global Product Managers to support new product development and market introduction
- Implement the global portfolio strategy in the region and adapt marketing information to regional needs
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, market intelligence analysis, and identify new opportunities for standardization and optimization
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and quality teams to ensure product integration meets customer requirements
- Monitor regulatory, technical, and market requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness
- Define and support participation in key regional market events
- Lead business cases and initiatives for design-to-value (DtV) projects and provide feedback on product performance
To succeed in this position, you should bring:
- MSc or BSc degree in Engineering
- Proven experience in product management, ideally with power transformers or related portfolios
- Strong knowledge of product development processes, manufacturing techniques, and quality standards
- International experience with diverse customer bases and product standards
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders and senior executives globally
- Strategic thinking combined with analytical problem-solving skills
- Intercultural sensitivity and adaptability to global market dynamics
