Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager (2–3 years’ experience) to take ownership of the planning, coordination, and execution of our Hackathons, Startup Competitions, and Investors Day.

This is a unique opportunity to combine project management, business development, and ecosystem building within Europe’s most prestigious Web3 & AI events.

You will work closely with the current project lead for the 2025 editions, progressively taking full ownership and leading the 2026 editions independently. Your initial focus will be on the Hackathons of PBW and Raise, until your involvement progressively expand to the Startup Competition and Investors Day.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end project management of the Hackathons, Startup Competitions, and Investors Day for both Paris Blockchain Week and Raise Summit.
• Hackathon organization: defining formats, onboarding corporate partners and sponsors, engaging developer communities, managing logistics, and ensuring impactful outcomes.
• Build and nurture relationships with startups, VCs, corporates, developers, and judges.
• Drive sponsorships and partnerships in collaboration with the sales team, identifying opportunities for upsells and added value.
• Coordinate across departments (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to ensure flawless event execution.
• Manage timelines and deliverables, ensuring smooth communication with all stakeholders.
• Engage with the startup ecosystem: sourcing the best projects, onboarding participants, and maximizing visibility.
• Strategic ownership: gradually transition from supporting to leading role, becoming the primary driver of the 2026 editions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience (VC, startup ecosystem, consulting, or project/event management).
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to engage with C-level executives and developer communities.
• Fluent in English (written & verbal); French is a plus.
• Sales or business development mindset, with the ability to spot and close partnership opportunities.
• Interest in tech, Web3, and innovation ecosystems.
