About Product Experience Management Europe

We're the voice of European users in a global portfolio of smart EVs. We're working as user-centric product managers for Vehicle, Autonomous Driving, NOMI (In-Car Voice Assistant and AI), Infotainment, and Smart Hardware. In addition, we also combine User Research and Interaction design to deliver solutions beyond expectations. From ideating or realizing user wishes, to creating and aligning requirements until testing the final solution, we own the process of delivering vehicles and features. For our team in Munich/ Berlin, we are looking for a UI /UX Designer (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

• Design user-centered interfaces and experiences for the NIO OS infotainment system
• Drive the design process from early concepts, user journeys, and wireframes through to high-fidelity UI
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, testers, user researchers, and external partners to deliver cohesive solutions
• Translate research insights and user feedback into design directions and tangible outcomes
• Explore new interaction patterns and design approaches that elevate the in-car digital experience
• Create prototypes to test, communicate, and refine design ideas across stakeholders
• Ensure design consistency and contribute to evolving the NIO design system

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in interaction design, visual design, industrial design, new media, computer science, or related fields
• Strong logical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
• Skilled at presenting stories, user needs, and usage scenarios
• Passionate about understanding cultural differences, especially in European markets
• Proficient in prototyping and flexible with design tools (Figma, Principle, ProtoPie, etc.)
• Enthusiastic about the future of automotive experiences
• Unique design perspective with a passion for lifestyle and user-centered innovation
• Experience in navigation or media-related product design is a plus
