We are searching for the best talent for a Data Analyst role to be in either Cork, Ireland or Pune, India.

As part of the Data team, the data analyst is responsible to aid in the development and lead the implementation of a multi-year strategy to deploy state of the art reporting & analytic capabilities, using the established analytic platforms within J&J. The analyst will work closely with the MedTech Integrated Business Planning team, the Digital team, JJT, TS and the Global Planning Process Leaders to make sure deliverables are driving the right business performance. The analyst will drive operational efficiencies and coordinate transformational projects when needed. He / she will successfully aid in the guidance of the organization through these changes while ensuring effective execution of the current processes.

As a Data Analyst, You Will

  • Data exploration for new capabilities, knowledge of data sources (ERPs, PLAN systems etc.), functional interpretation, & Data Engineering
  • Drive the analytical capability development on MD analytics platforms and subsequently converge onto the future state tech stack
  • Perform and coordinate UAT to a high level of accuracy, liaising with both the supply chain business and technology partners.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of standard methodologies to business reporting / analytics capabilities on the platform
  • Partner with Technology teams to develop business solutions that improve visualization and virtualization capabilities of the MedTech supply chain metrics and processes.
  • Align with MD SC Digital Stack roadmap and assess opportunities to lead the delivery of platform capabilities
  • Maintain an in-depth business relation with the key stakeholders.
  • Provide in depth analysis / insights for decision-making in key business functions.
  • Aid in the production deployment of new solutions and train the business on how to operationalize the new solutions
  • Help the organization in assessing opportunities to drive operational efficiencies in data & analytics
  • Support in development of specific analytics solutions for deployment by global process leaders and other partners

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with preference in Supply Chain, Operational Research, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working within a multi-regional and multi-functional team in a highly matrix environment is required.
  • Experience with data (acquisition) platforms (SQL, etc), Data & analytics (Python), and visualization platform delivery (Tableau) is required.
  • Minimum four years of relevant experience required.
  • PMP, FPX SME, lean / 6S Black Belt or equivalent certifications.
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CFPIM or CIRM).
  • Knowledge in Supply Chain KPI reporting, and SC metrics preferred.
  • Experience with global and virtual teams is highly preferred.
  • Other certifications in areas of expertise desirable.
