We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to help transition our website to a new theme.

The project involves installing and configuring the new WordPress theme, deactivating/removing unnecessary plugins tied to the old theme, setting up WooCommerce as fully functional, and performing a system-wide optimization review to ensure fast page load speeds and smooth user experience upon launch.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure the new WordPress theme.
• Install and configure WooCommerce.
• Deactivate and remove plugins that are no longer required.
• Ensure all website content (pages, posts, media, menus) displays properly in the new theme.
• Optimize the site for speed and performance (including caching, image optimization, database cleanup, and minimizing HTTP requests).
• Review security and plugin compatibility.
• Provide documentation of changes and recommendations for ongoing maintenance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in WordPress theme installation and customization.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with website performance optimization (Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, etc.).
• Familiarity with WordPress security best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot.

Deliverables:

• Fully installed and functioning new theme.
• All unnecessary plugins deactivated/removed.
