Senior AI Engineer (LLMs / MLOps)

Location: Hybrid – Madrid (1–2 days/week) or Remote in Spain

We are currently looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join a growing Data & AI team. The focus of this role will be on building and deploying Large Language Model (LLM) applications, with a strong emphasis on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and MLOps best practices.

What you’ll be working on

• Designing and delivering end-to-end AI/ML solutions, from experimentation through production.
• Developing and optimizing LLM-powered systems, especially RAG applications.
• Implementing MLOps pipelines (CI/CD, monitoring, model governance, lifecycle management).
• Leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for scalable AI solutions.
• Collaborating with data, engineering, and product teams to integrate AI into products and workflows.
• Staying up to date with new frameworks and tools in the AI/LLM ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ years as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role.
• 3+ years working hands-on with GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong background in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Proven expertise in MLOps (automation, deployment pipelines, monitoring).
• Experience with LLMs, especially in RAG-based deployments.
• Fluent English (Spanish or French a plus).

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with LangChain or LangGraph.
• Knowledge of dbt for data transformation.
