Axiosys GmbH is an ambitious indie studio crafting Mawforged, a next-generation title built with Unreal Engine 5. We're passionate about creating immersive worlds, deep lore, and innovative gameplay systems that push boundaries.

🚀 Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Character Artist to design and sculpt the heroes, warriors, monsters, and faction leaders that define our world. Think about: corrupted dwarves, blood-soaked monsters, feral beasts, and arcane horrors.

💻 What You'll Do:

• Design high-fantasy characters, armor sets, and creatures from concept to in-game model
• Sculpt high-poly and low-poly characters, bake maps, and texture assets
• Collaborate with rigging and animation teams to ensure clean integration
• Contribute to the overall visual style and faction identity (Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, etc.)

🎯 You should have:

• SA strong portfolio showing stylized or realistic fantasy character work
• Proficiency with ZBrush, Blender/Maya, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 5
• Solid understanding of anatomy, clothing, armor, and creature design
• Comfort with clean topology, UVs, and game-ready optimization workflows

• Experience with modular characters and equipment
• Familiarity with rigging, facial blendshapes, or cloth simulation
• Passion for dark fantasy or brutal narrative-driven worldbuilding
