Compensation: from $6-7k to 10-12k / monthly (depending on experience)

We are growing rapidly, launching at new markets and looking for an experienced Product Design Director to join our team and develop a sound product design strategy that meets business objectives addressing the needs of our customers (clients) and contractors (handymen) likewise.

Key Responsibilities
· Take a leadership role in developing and implementing UI/UX strategy while addressing, solving, and prioritizing design issues aimed at aligning it with the subscription-based business model
· Lead the product design cycle for mobile applications (prototyping, design, logic, scripts, interface, styling, and guidelines).
· Dedicate time to discovery validating ideas via qualitative (custdev) and quantitative (analytics) research to understand user behavior
· Take responsibility for shaping E2E UX: from the first touch & onboarding to LTV and retention-based approach
· Run a small team of 1-2 UI/UX design members and vendors, freelancers, prioritizing and distributing tasks with regular follow-ups
· Connect the design team’s efforts to the organizational context and develop the ability to articulate a vision for the team
· Build a new design system: brand visual identity, UI components, style guides and help maintain a library of components and
· Drive customer retention by introducing features that enhance subscription value (personalized reports, important date reminders, service history).
· Continuously improve user experience based on user feedback, proactive research incl. custdev, analytics, and business priorities.
· Define and track benchmarks, KPIs related to design (conversion rates, task success, NPS, retention).
· Foster collaboration culture between teams to embed design thinking & related processes into the company’s product development cycle.
Qualifications
Work Experience Requirement: Minimum 4-6 years in a relevant role and field.
· Proven experience in UI/UX design of B2C subscription service products for mobile for at least 3 (three) years in the US/Canada or Western European markets
· Experience in creating and maintaining scalable design systems, building interactive & high-fidelity prototypes, user-friendly interfaces, and usage scenarios for both Android and iOS users
· Experience in collecting, processing and implementing customer feedback with different preferences into design, incl. using data tools, continuous iteration and collaboration with development team as well as business owners
· Experiance in discovery validating ideas via qualitative (custdev) and quantitative (analytics) research to understand user behavior
Tools / Tech Stack
· Figma - mock-ups and wireframes, creating and updating UI components, organizing and supporting internal design-system.
· Marvel/Adobe XD/Principle/similar – low- and high-fidelity interactive prototyping tools.
· Principal, Adobe After Effects - for creating animation effects within the application (optional).
· Gitlab for development
