The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in extending our in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support global tokenization. This individual will analyze requirements, procedures, and challenges to enhance existing systems while modifying and building new ones. The role involves ownership of scalable microservices that enable reliable and secure APIs to transfer value and assets across blockchain and traditional banking protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Extend our blockchain infrastructure to support tokenization initiatives.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices that ensure secure, reliable APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, testing, and system improvements.
• Develop and document design and testing procedures along with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and restore normal functionality.
• Design developer-friendly APIs for seamless payment integrations.
• Integrate platform services with banks and financial technology providers.
• Provide technical consultation to align with organizational principles.
• Design and maintain infrastructure for data sources (SQL/NoSQL), messaging systems, and APIs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ professional software development experience in object-oriented languages such as Java and Go.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in technically leading small teams (2–4 members) in architecture and system design.
• Experience with payment systems including credit cards and bank transfers.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL databases and schema design.
• Demonstrated success in designing and deploying production-quality, scalable software.
• Commitment to coding standards, code quality, and comprehensive test coverage to enable continuous delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across remote teams and present technical concepts effectively.
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, delivering impactful software while continuously improving.
