Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related
field. A diploma in a relevant field is also acceptable with additional years of
experience in network technologies.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer (or more years if
holding a diploma).
Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs,
VPNs).
Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches and Nexus Dashboard for
VxLAN fabric.
Experience with Fortigate Firewalls in data center environments.
Familiarity with F5 Load Balancers, including Web Application Firewall (WAF)
configurations.
Knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls for perimeter security.
Experience in configuring and troubleshooting LAN/WAN environments.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
Knowledge of security protocols and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and
IDS/IPS.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Certifications:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Fortinet NSE Certification
F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA)

ITIL Foundation Certification
