Job Description
- Technology Infrastructure Strategy & Design
- Responsible for the design, development and implementation of banking technology
strategy and goals and scalable, secure and compliant with industry regulation and
standards;
- Identify, evaluate and select the appropriatetechnology solution vendors and partners, ensuring that the company's technology infrastructure is scalable, secure and compliant with industry regulation and standards;
- Review, identify, evaluate, select and implement new technologies that could drive
- Strategize and propose products and solutions relevant to the bank including without
asset management;
- Advise the CEO and Board on the structuring and building up of technology assets for the
shareholder return;
- Technology Implementation and Engineering
- Translate product roadmap and strategy into an engineering plan of execution, ensuring that
- Advise the CEO and Board on feasibility, best approaches and potential roadblocks, taking
- Oversee and monitor the company’s system performance and reliability, while implementing pre-emptive and responsive measures to address issues and minimize
- Establish and maintain robust technology, cybersecurity and information security
- Develop comprehensive risk management framework to address all technology-related
- Technology Personnel Management & Thought Leadership
- Recruit and manage technology and engineering teams, fostering a culture of high-performance, responsibility and innovation;
- Ensure the technology and engineering teams are able to work cross-functionally with other
- Represent the company at discussions with regulators and government bodies on
- Represent the company at external events and publicity around topics of banking innovation,
strengths.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in technology leadership, with a strong background in technology infrastructure/engineering and product development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in banking or financial services.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field;
- Strong expertise in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and managing high-performance technology teams and working cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to advise C-suite/Board and represent the company to regulators and industry forums.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability and a balance of innovation and compliance.
