Are you a passionate Golang Engineer with a drive to build high-quality software in a collaborative and innovative environment? We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge backend solutions in the Accounts domain.

Location: Burgess Hill, UK - Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
• Contribute to the evolution of our microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to share best practices and architectural principles.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Ensure code quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and integration testing.
• Support continuous delivery and deployment processes using modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Hands-on experience with at least one statically-typed backend language — Golang preferred.

✅ Strong background in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and asynchronous communication (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).

✅ Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and collaborative team environments.

✅ Solid experience with CI/CD, continuous testing, and modern DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Rally, JIRA).

✅ Proficient in test automation practices: unit, functional, integration, and regression tests.

✅ Working knowledge of tools and technologies such as:

• Kafka, Postgres, Docker, GraphQL, Git, gRPC
• ✅ A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• ✅ Clear, professional communication and a collaborative mindset.
