We're looking for a Product Designer who loves their craft and is excited to help build the future of mental health care from the ground up. This is the ideal role for an experienced designer to step up and lead the design for an early stage health startup, led by an experienced multi-exited founder.

Your job is to turn prioritised product goals into shipped experiences across our web app and future mobile app, while developing a pragmatic design system that compounds speed. You’ll explore, prototype (leaning on AI where useful), validate quickly, and partner with engineering to deliver.

About the role:

• As Kantoko’s Founding Product Designer, you’ll be responsible for the entire design experience from idea to execution.
• Your job is to turn prioritised product goals into shipped experiences across our web app and future mobile app, while developing a pragmatic design system that compounds speed.
• Work with product, engineering, and operations to convert (very rough) ideas into designs.
• There are 3 primary products to work across: Clinician Web App, Patient Web App, and our future Patient Mobile App.
• We see designers as problem solvers - you’ll be involved directly in the what, when, and how of product development.
  

What you’ll bring:

• You're excited about working at an early-stage startup (~10 people) to take full ownership of everything design related
• You ship designs fast and iterate fast – we're a super fast-moving team! :)
• Design systems - you’ve been involved in developing or evolving effective design systems.
• An eye for informaiton architecture, states, microcopy, and strong vidual hierarchy.
• Pragmatic approach to design - you know when to be precise and when to be pragmatic.
• Experience with Figma.
• Clear communication
• [Bonus] Experience using AI to accelerate ideation/prototyping. 

Formal education or past experience doesn’t matter to us - your ability to execute and take ownership is what we care about

Current Design Tooling:

• Figma
• Platform uses Tailwind, DaisyUI, and AlpineJS.
