Vectiq is seeking a highly experienced Lead Cyber Advisor to support a Federal Government agency.
In this role, you will conduct cyber security risk assessments across complex ICT environments, provide expert advice to strengthen security capabilities, and present findings to senior stakeholders. You will play a critical role in uplifting the agency’s cyber security posture while working in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
📍 Canberra (Onsite) | 12-month contract + 2 × 12-month extensions
🔒 NV1 Security Clearance (or higher) required
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver cyber security risk assessments across a variety of ICT systems and environments.
- Provide technical and strategic advice to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior executives with clarity and confidence.
- Identify opportunities to improve overall security practices and resilience.
- Contribute to the development of security strategies and initiatives within the agency.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience conducting cyber security risk assessments within government.
- Strong understanding of ICT systems, including cloud, legacy, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience engaging with senior executives and presenting risk assessments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Must be an Australian Citizen with an active NV1 or higher security clearance.
