Your Role


As a Data Analyst, you play a crucial role in analyzing, modeling, visualizing and optimizing data to gain strategic insights. You will work with various teams to develop robust data models, create impactful visualizations and ensure that data is accurately, consistently, and efficiently mapped and processed.


Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a closely related field.
  • Languages: Written & spoken fluency in French/Dutch AND English (mandatory)
  • At least 4 years of experience as a BI/Data Analyst or in a similar role
  • Deep expertise in Power BI, including designing and maintaining dashboards that deliver clear, actionable insights
  • Strong SQL and DAX skills, with experience creating efficient queries, calculations, and measures
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for data transformation, preparation, and modeling to support BI solutions
  • Proven experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing tabular models for high-performance analytics
  • Knowledge of data modeling (e.g., star schemas, dimensional models) and experience applying these in BI projects
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and experience applying them in BI projects
  • Familiarity with implementing role-based data access and security measures (RLS/OLS)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly convey complex insights
  • Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to complex problems
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for data transformation, preparation, and modeling to support BI solutions


What You Will Do


  • Develop and optimize data models that support strategic decision-making
  • Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards that transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Work with large datasets in Power BI, ensuring efficient processing and responsive visualization
  • Streamline and enhance data transformations using best practices in tools like Power Query and DAX
  • Leverage Databricks to design, transform, and prepare datasets that feed into Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions.
  • Implement and manage data security measures to ensure the right users access the right information at the right time
  • Analyze data using statistical and analytical techniques
  • Contribute to organization-wide BI strategies, including guidelines and knowledge sharing
  • Improve current data governance and implement procedures for high-quality, trusted, and consistent data
