A client of WorkingDay Latvia – ŽEMAITIJOS PIENAS is one of the largest and most modern milk processing and dairy production companies in the Baltics, founded in 1924. Dziugas Eesti - the representative office of ŽEMAITIJOS PIENAS in Estonia, is growing and is looking for a Key Account Manager to join the team. If you are a results-driven sales professional with a solid background in the dairy industry and established relationships with major retail chains, this opportunity is for you!


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain successful long-term relationships with retail chains, ensuring strong placement and visibility of company products
  • Conduct negotiations, conclude contracts, and manage the full sales process from customer search to payment collection
  • Identify customer needs, propose solutions, and provide input to improve product positioning and sales results
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to support company growth
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and management, ensuring alignment with company goals and values
  • Represent the company with professionalism, empathy, and integrity in all interactions


Requirements:


  • Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in the dairy or other short shelf-life food & beverage (e.g. fruits, vegetables, meat) production company
  • Solid understanding of retail market operations, existing relationships and personal contacts with the major retail chains (especially with Rimi and COOP)
  • Higher education in Sales, Business Management, Economics, or Marketing
  • Strong communication skills, knowledge of sales techniques and negotiation strategies
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to work independently, adapt quickly to changes and achieve set goals
  • Initiative and curiosity to learn more about the market, company activities, and customer needs
  • Fluency in Estonian and English for daily communication with colleagues and partners abroad
  • B category driving license
