Delivery Manager

As a Delivery Manager at OlyBet, you will be pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and predictability of software delivery by our development teams. You will champion the adoption of agile methodologies, drive the optimization of delivery processes, and lead multiple teams towards achieving higher performance and quality standards.

What will you be doing?

• Optimize delivery processes by establishing clear working methods and team agreements; facilitate regular agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Proactively identify and address barriers that hinder team progress, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery flows.
• Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to align with project demands and timelines, ensuring optimal team performance without overburdening.
• Regularly analyze team metrics to identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance team velocity and delivery quality.
• Provide regular updates to Product Owners on delivery status, timelines, and potential risks while ensuring timely decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
• Deliver clear and timely reporting on team velocity, sprint outcomes, and delivery metrics, and share knowledge across the organization to foster continuous improvement.

Does this sound like you?

• Thorough understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Proven experience in implementing and optimizing delivery processes.
• Strong team leadership skills and emotional intelligence to effectively manage multiple teams.
• At least 2 years of experience in software delivery, with a track record of improving team performance and delivery velocity.
• Data-driven approach to measuring and improving team performance, with a strong endorsement of digital tools for tracking delivery progress.
• Educational background preferably at the graduate level with a higher degree in a management discipline or a relevant professional qualification.
