The SRE Architect is a senior engineer responsible for designing and implementing the foundational platforms and practices for system stability, performance, and efficiency across all Tech Engineering solutions. This hands-on role will build out the core capabilities for DevOps, monitoring, and observability to support domain teams with agility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the division's DevOps platform and practices, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Establish a comprehensive monitoring and observability platform for end-to-end visibility.
- Define standards for Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and lead
- SRE activities.
- Implement and manage the test automation platform and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud infrastructure and operations, primarily within the Azure ecosystem.
- Required Experience - 6+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE, with proven experience building large-scale, automated platforms from scratch.
Technical Skillsets -
- DevOps/Automation: Mastery of DevOps principles and tools, including CI/CD pipeline definition (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expert in Terraform, ARM Templates, or Ansible for infras code.
- SRE/Observability: Deep knowledge of SRE activities and tools for monitoring and observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, end-to-end tracing).
- Cloud: Strong command of Azure cloud services and networking. Scripting: Proficiency in Python or Bash.
