Position Overview

The People & Culture Generalist plays a key role in shaping the employee experience at Permobil’s French operations. You’ll bring HR expertise across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with French labor law while supporting a culture of growth and collaboration. As a trusted partner to our teams, you’ll drive HR initiatives that strengthen our workplace and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with French labor law, company policies, and HR processes,
  • Serve as the main HR contact in France, advising managers and employees on complex HR matters,
  • Lead recruitment activities in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, from job postings to offers,
  • Deliver onboarding programs and support employee integration,
  • Coordinate training needs and initiatives for compliance and development,
  • Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions,
  • Prepare, document, and follow up on CSE (Comité Social et Économique) matters,
  • Drive HR process improvements and support digital HR initiatives,
  • Liaise with external providers and authorities as needed,
  • Participate in local and regional HR projects.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certifications are a plus),
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR generalist role, covering payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and legal compliance in France,
  • Solid knowledge of French labor law, HR processes, payroll, and CSE management,
  • Hands-on experience supporting or managing CSE processes,
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and time management systems (e.g., ADP),
  • Familiarity with training and development practices,
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills,
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and proactively solve problems,
  • Fluency in English and French is mandatory; additional languages are an asset,
  • Experience in a multinational or matrix organization is an advantage.
