We are hiring for a Senior Platform Engineer for a hands-on role responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of core platforms. Plus leading a small team of Platform Engineers, this role combines technical delivery, operational support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, supportable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Platform Engineers, managing workloads, priorities, and technical standards.
• Translate designs into scalable platform improvements, overseeing implementation and automation.
• Act as an escalation point for incidents, driving resolution, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Improve operational readiness through runbooks, dashboards, alerts, and observability tooling.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Development, QA, and Service Operations to align delivery with business needs.

Skills & Experience

• Strong background in building and operating reliable systems at scale.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, incident management, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with PHP/Symfony, Python/Django, React, SQL, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS.
• Experience coaching engineers and leading in service-oriented environments.
• Desirable: Golang, Redis, MongoDB, DDD, asynchronous frameworks, ITSM principles.
