Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to join us in our team in Zurich. As a Junior Product Manager, you will be responsible to maintain and increase revenue by achieving contracting targets and exploring new business opportunities in accordance to guidelines, standards and strategies of the company in the assigned area.

You will work closely with the Director of Product to ensure that revenue from the destinations meets or exceeds the planned budget. As well as, propose and implement contracting strategies in conjunction with management & in line with overall company goals.

Main responsibilities:

  • To ensure contracts targets are met and maintains/grows production in the designated areas.
  • Regular calls with destinations of analytical KPIs.
  • Understand the requirements and business models of clients and implement negotiations arguments.
  • Identify and interpret of market trends, opportunities and trigger actions.
  • Close collaboration with different cross functional departments across multiple countries.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new streams of business for revenue generation.
  • Specific projects as requested by senior management.
  • Perform trips to all destinations, events and fairs.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the Product and / or Commercial areas will be a plus:
    • Commercial orientation.
    • Negotiating and persuading ability.
    • Understanding of suppliers and market dynamics will be a plus.
    • Strategic thinker with ability to communicate the strategy effectively.
    • Understand and communicate technology concepts.
  • Knowledge of Revenue or Yield management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Fluent English. German knowledge will be a plus.
