Mid Frontend Engineer (React)

The Role

We are currently seeking a mid-level Frontend Engineer with React expertise to join our team on a greenfield project for a leading organization in the consumer healthcare navigation sector.

This is a unique opportunity to build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) from the ground up—a demo website that will serve as a crucial tool for their sales team. You'll be responsible for crafting a high-impact, reusable, and scalable frontend experience that effectively showcases their unparalleled consumer experience and validated claims savings to self-insured employer clients. You'll use your expertise to shape the technical architecture, ensure code quality, and collaborate closely with product and design teams to bring this vision to life.

What you will do

• Define the overall structure of the MVP (frontend–backend integration, hosting, deployment).
• Choose appropriate frameworks, libraries, and cloud services that allow quick delivery without over-engineering.
• Implement key features that showcase product value to the sales team (demo workflows, integrations, sample data).
• Ensure the site is responsive, usable, and polished enough for customer-facing demos.
• Write maintainable, well-structured code even under MVP timelines.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React.js.
• Solid understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex, or Pinia).
• Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines, tools, and workflows (Webpack, Vite, Babel).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Testing Library).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong advantage: Vue.js, Next.js in the skillset package, adaptability
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of design systems and component libraries (e.g., Material UI, TailwindCSS).
• Understanding of accessibility (a11y) and SEO best practices.
