As a member of the Cegeka Networking & Security Team, your mission is to maintain, build, and improve the network infrastructure equipment of our customers, working with multiple technologies. Together with the team, you'll constantly use your knowledge and experience to improve their environments.

In close cooperation with the PM and the customer, you succeed in completing your projects. You will need to provide professional advice and updates through diverse channels of communication. You will also deal with all technical matters assigned to your project and handle high-priority situations when necessary.

For this position, standby (on-call) work is required, by rotation (approx. once at every 8 weeks). The team works during 09:00 – 17:30 and a flexible schedule is accepted. When needed, project work also includes after-hours and weekend activities as part of your project. The Networking Team operates in a 24 by 7 system.

What you will do:

• Analyze complex questions and incidents from our clients;
• Setup new customer environments in different technologies;
• Interact with different client environments and occasionally visit clients on-site;
• Maintain the network components (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, wireless, etc.);
• You will thoroughly investigate the situation and possible solutions;
• Creation and maintenance of accurate documentation, instructions, and procedures;
• You will work with the team to optimize our monitoring tools and keep them up to date.

What will help you succeed:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar Network Project Engineer role or 5 years as a Network Operations Engineer.
• CCNP certification or equivalent advanced knowledge in networks (CCNA certification as a minimum).
• Strong knowledge of Switching and routing (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VRF, MPLS) protocols.
• Proven experience with technologies like Firewalling (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA), VPN, Proxy (Bluecoat), Load balancing (F5), Wireless (Aruba), SSLVPN (F5), and Authentication systems (VASCO/RSA).
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proven track record in managing end-to-end network projects, including planning, design, implementation, and support.
• Strong project management skills, including coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders, and familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP).
