TRATON Group R&D is driving the transformation toward smarter, safer, and more sustainable transport systems. Within the Systems Engineering organization, the EE & Software Process team plays a central role in enabling effective and efficient development of electrical and embedded systems across our brands.
As part of this, our agile team EE Analytics—operating within the Vehicle Software Factory Definition VCT—is growing. We’re now looking for a skilled Data Analyst to strengthen our capabilities and help us translate complex data into actionable insights that support product development and operational excellence
The Team
EE Analytics is a cross-functional and international team working with modern data platforms, tools, and frameworks. We collaborate across brands and disciplines to support the digital evolution of vehicle software and systems development.
You’ll work closely with agile team members, product owners, scrum masters, and other teams in the Vehicle Software Factory Definition VCT to deliver high-value data solutions.
Your Role
As a Data Analyst, you will:
- Model and transform data using dbt
- Validate, analyze, and manage data within Snowflake and AWS'
- Perform ad-hoc analysis using SQL and Python to support decision-making
- Translate requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with VCT stakeholders
- Build insightful dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and usability across systems
- Contribute to the evolution of analytics processes and workflows
You are a driven and detail-focused analyst with strong problem-solving skills. You're confident in a mid-to-senior role, used to working in agile teams, and excited by the challenge of supporting vehicle software development with data-driven insights.
You bring experience with:
- SQL (Snowflake) and Python for analysis and automation
- dbt Core for data modeling and transformation workflows
- Power BI for report development and visualization
- Git and GitLab CI/CD for collaboration and version control
- Working within cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS)
- A general understanding of development environments
- Communicative and collaborative in cross-functional teams
- Analytical, able to identify patterns and draw actionable conclusions from complex data
- Helpful, with a service-minded approach
- Calm and methodical when facing challenges or troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of how vehicles and embedded systems work
- Experience with DAX and performance tuning in Power BI
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and version control
- Certifications such as Microsoft Data Analyst Associate or dbt Fundamentals
- Exposure to the automotive or embedded software domains
