Technical Product Manager Network Security

Dstny is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in managed services, including managed Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki SDWAN, WiFi and switches, email security, SSE, and UCaaS solutions. Our UCaaS solution features a cloud IPBX, CRM connector, MS Teams connector, and a unique mobile/fixed phone convergence feature. Our technical product management team is pivotal in designing technical architectures, producing documentation, ensuring level 3 support, maintaining and enhancing platforms, and providing DEV-OP skills to other departments (identifying repetitive and/or time-consuming tasks and specifying an automation process which could be implemented by the TPM team or the DEV team).

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the integration field. This individual will be instrumental in handling our network security portfolio (Palo Alto, Meraki, Mimecast) and will be nurtured towards the role of a Technical Product manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Architecture Design:
• Design and implement robust technical architectures for managed network security services, including Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki SDWAN, and Mimecast email security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of network security solutions with other managed services.
• Technical Documentation & Procedures:
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, implementation guides, and support procedures.
• Create clear and concise documentation for delivery and support teams to facilitate efficient service delivery and support.
• Level 3 Support:
• Provide expert level 3 support for network security solutions, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring timely resolution.
• Act as an escalation point for technical issues, working closely with support teams to resolve customer problems.
• Platform Maintenance & Enhancement:
• Maintain, update, and enhance the technical platforms supporting our network security solutions.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure high availability and performance.
• Cross-Departmental Support:
• Utilize DEV-OP skills to support other departments, acting as a versatile technical resource.
• Assist in the automation of processes and the development of tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Pathway to Technical Product Manager:
• Develop a deep understanding of the product management lifecycle and contribute to product strategy and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with marketing product management and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

What we're looking for in you...

• We are looking for someone with an engineering degree or at least a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Dutch or French speaker with excellent written and spoken English skills
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in network security integration.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing network security solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner.
• Experience with DEV-OP practices and tools is a plus.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Cisco etc.) are a plus.
