About the Role
Vianode is growing fast, and we're seeking a determined, independent, and structured Senior Laboratory Engineer to lead and develop our laboratory operations. This is a key role in our laboratory team, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment alongside leading advisors and internal stakeholders.
As Senior Laboratory Engineer, you will play a central role in supporting Vianode’s product development and material testing activities. You’ll organize and execute advanced materials testing, ensure laboratory compliance, and collaborate across technical teams to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and prioritize daily materials testing (XRD, XRF, SEM, Raman, etc.) and laboratory workflow.
- Conduct testing, analyze data, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and train laboratory personnel.
- Develop SOPs, policies, and procedures for material testing.
- Ensure laboratory compliance with ISO 9001/14001/IATF 16949 standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, equipment troubleshooting, and service contracts.
- Support method development and cross-functional testing requirements.
- Participate in audits, KPI reporting, and daily lab meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Material Science or related field (M.S. or PhD preferred).
- 3–5 years’ experience in a laboratory environment, with hands-on materials characterization (XRD, XRF, Raman, SEM, ICP).
- Proficiency in laboratory software and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
