About the Role

We are a dynamic solicitors firm based in Manchester, expanding our digital capabilities and product offerings in the rapidly evolving legal technology landscape. We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing team and help drive innovation in legal services, with a particular focus on mis-sold car finance litigation and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using our modern tech stack (Laravel, Inertia.js, Vue.js, Tailwind, MYSQL)

Build and integrate APIs for various legal and financial services

Implement multi-tenant architecture solutions for our diverse client base

Collaborate with legal teams to automate complex litigation processes

Design and develop client-facing portals and internal case management systems

Optimise application performance and ensure scalability across AWS infrastructure

Integrate with third-party services including financial APIs and legal databases

Participate in the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment

Minimum 5 years of full stack development experience

Strong proficiency in Laravel/PHP for backend development

Advanced Vue.js 3 and Inertia.js knowledge for frontend development

Experience with Vite build tooling and Tailwind CSS for styling

Solid MySQL database design and optimization skills

Proven experience with API integrations and RESTful services

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services

Familiarity with Laravel Forge for server management

Knowledge of Cloudflare for performance and security

Experience with Laravel Envoyer for deployment automation

Understanding of multi-tenancy architecture and implementation

Desirable (Bonus) Qualifications

Mass litigation experience: Understanding of high-volume case management systems

Legal sector experience: Previous work within law firms or legal technology companies

Open Banking integration: Experience with PSD2 APIs and financial data aggregation

Process automation expertise: Building workflows and automated business processes

PDF automation: Programmatic PDF generation, form filling, and document processing

AI/Machine Learning: Experience with natural language processing, email classification, and sentiment analysis for automated case categorization

Knowledge of legal compliance requirements (GDPR, SRA regulations, etc.)
