ORX Travel by NDC Solutions Inc. is looking for a software developer to drive the technical evolution of our white-label travel platform. This is a diverse role at a fast-moving startup. You won't just build what we design—you'll also help shape how complex travel solutions are architected, implemented, and scaled. That includes owning features from conception to deployment, collaborating across product and business teams, and ensuring our platform can handle the demands of a growing customer base.

As a Software Developer, you will be instrumental in:

• Building robust, scalable features using PHP, Laravel, React, and Node.js in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Collaborating with team members throughout the development lifecycle to deliver exceptional end-to-end user experiences.
• Owning features from inception to deployment, including testing and post-launch monitoring.
• Translating complex business and travel industry requirements into working software solutions.
• Navigating and contributing to a large, multi-million-line codebase with confidence and efficiency.

• Design, develop, and maintain features across our full-stack application using PHP/Laravel, Node/NestJs on the backend; and, React/NextJs on the frontend.
• Partner closely with the stakeholders, product team, and engineering lead to define technical solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
• Transform complex, ambiguous business requirements into clean, maintainable code that integrates seamlessly with existing architecture.
• Work with SQL and noSQL databases to design efficient data models and optimize queries for performance at scale.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, ensuring our platform can handle growth and evolving travel industry requirements.
• Promote code quality through thorough testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters to ensure smooth deployment and operations.
• Help build systems for monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
• Support and mentor future engineering teammates as we grow the development team.
  

• 3+ years of experience contributing to production-level applications with real user impact.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, React, Node.js, and SQL databases.
• You are able to articulate complex problems and technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of HTTP, Web Standards and core programming concepts. Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms and systems architecture and how components work together at scale.
• You can own features end-to-end—from initial requirements gathering through deployment and testing.
• You take initiative and collaborate effectively with product teams, stakeholders, and other developers.
• You can navigate large codebases (millions of lines) with ease, switching between languages, frameworks, and architectures.
• You're excited by early-stage momentum and not afraid to tackle complex technical challenges.
  

• Background in travel tech, booking platforms, or affiliate tools.
• Experience with building SaaS platform
• Experience with GDS, NDC, or travel content integrations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and advanced DevOps practices.
• A track record of working in small teams where you wore many hats—including backend development, frontend work, database design, and system architecture.
