Job Title: Java Fullstack Developer

Job Location: Toronto, ON (HYBRID – 4 Days Onsite)

Job Type: Contract (1+ Years)

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Multithread, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development, Spring Securities, Kafka, cloud and SQL/Oracle. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in designing and implementing scalable public web applications and enterprise-grade solutions.

Experience:

• 8+ years total in Spring Boot

Backend:

• Java (8+), Multithread, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Kafka, Spring Securities

Database:

• Strong SQL skills (SQL Queries, MySQL, or Oracle)

DevOps:

• Experience with CI/CD, Git, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Front End Knowledge:

• 3+ years total in Angular/React

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications
• Lead technical discussions and ensure best practices
• Own full feature delivery (design to deployment)
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• Proven team lead experience
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently
• Familiarity of fixing scan issues using SonarQube and Veracode

Required Skills Summary:

• 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java, Multithread, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Securities, Kafka and SQL/Oracle

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing public web applications and RESTful APIs
• Proven expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test coverage

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in SQL-Server or Oracle DB for backend SQL queries
• Familiarity of fixing Scan issues using SonarQube and Veracode
