UI/UX Designer Intern
CANYON ENTERTAINMENT GROUP
Location: Remote | Preferred: GTA/Mississauga
Overview
We are hiring UI/UX Designer Intern to help design the screens and user experience for our
upcoming mobile app. You’ll work with Cristina, who is already leading UI/UX and project
management, to develop user flows and designs for a child-friendly, engaging app interface.
This is a great opportunity for students or emerging designers who want to work on a real
mobile project and build their portfolio using tools like Figma.
Responsibilities
Design:
Use Figma to build storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Apply color theory and typography principles to match brand standards
Design mobile user experiences for younger audiences (ages 3–18)
Ensure all UI is child-friendly, engaging, and easy to navigate
Bonus: Experience using Unity’s Canvas UI to help implement designs (menus, buttons,
instruction tabs, etc.)
Soft Skills
Strong collaboration with Unity Developers and other interns
Visual attention to detail and alignment with Girl Pow-R’s brand aesthetic
Ability to clearly communicate design decisions
Organized mindset to maintain consistent user flow and layout
Important Notes
Your role will focus heavily on the screen design, UI layout, and user experience
This is a strong opportunity for portfolio development and collaboration in a live project
setting
