Game Path is working with a small, established VR developer based in British Columbia, Canada, actively seeking a Senior Artist to join their growing team on a range of newly developed and original projects.
The role is permanent and fully remote.
*Note that this position require the successful applicant to be based within the Pacific time zone (preferably in the British Columbian province)*
What You’ll Do
- Create high-quality 3D assets, environments, and characters primarily in a stylized art style
- Collaborate closely with designers, programmers, and other artists to bring immersive mobile and VR experiences to life
- Work within Unity to implement art assets efficiently and optimize them for performance
- Contribute ideas to improve visual storytelling, presentation, and user immersion
- Support animation and VFX pipeline where needed to ensure a cohesive final product
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Art Generalist, preferably in mobile game development
- Strong proficiency with Unity is a requirement for this position
- Portfolio showcasing work in a stylized art style
- Experience with VR projects preferred
- Comfort with animation and VFX workflows a strong plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote team environment
- Strong communication and self-management skills
