Tech Support Engineer

A top-tier trading firm is seeking a Tech Support Engineer, you’ll ensure production stability and deliver top-tier support across the office. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and cloud engineers to drive automation initiatives and become a subject matter expert in both technical and business aspects of key applications.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will be part of a collaborative tech team supporting applications across Middle Office, Back Office, and Treasury. Your role includes daily support, incident resolution, release deployments, and driving outage communications. You will be working with DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitHub, contribute to automation and process improvements, and provide clear updates to senior management during critical events.

Requirements

You should have a bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience. You will have experience in application support, excellent SQL skills, and familiarity with databases. Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, experience with monitoring tools like ITRS Geneos or Datadog, and cloud support. Experience with Openlink Endur will be advantageous. Financial services experience is required.
