About the Role:

As a Front-End Engineer, you’ll join a small, collaborative team where you will quickly gain hands-on experience. You will play a key role in building user-facing features, enhancing the Playbook platform’s UI/UX, and working closely with other engineers to deliver responsive and visually appealing interfaces. Your work will directly impact the usability and experience for our clients, helping Playbook continue to scale its innovative platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for Playbook’s web platform.
• Work closely with back-end engineers to integrate front-end interfaces with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the highest level of design consistency and usability.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to front-end best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient front-end code using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving UI-related bugs and performance issues.
• Help oversee workflows and processes that are critical to our clients’ and community’s ongoing success.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in front-end development with experience in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (React, Vue.js, or Angular preferred).
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous JavaScript operations.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• A passion for working in Agile environments and being part of a collaborative team.
• Self-starter who is excited to take on new responsibilities and make an impact from day one.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) is a plus.
