AeroSpec, Inc., the Southwest’s largest automation system developer, is seeking a Scrum Master to guide multi-disciplinary teams in delivering advanced automation solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware and software engineering, helping shape cutting-edge manufacturing systems for industries worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate Agile Practices – Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives for hardware and software project teams. Drive teams toward timely completion of key project milestones
- Support Project Owners – Work closely with 3–4 project owners to define scope, prioritize features, and track progress across multiple active projects
- Team Enablement – Coach cross-functional teams of controls engineers, software developers, and mechanical/electrical engineers in agile best practices
- Project Delivery – Ensure projects remain on schedule, risks are identified early, and deliverables meet customer requirements
- Communication Hub – Act as a bridge between engineering teams, management, and customers — ensuring clear expectations and alignment
- Continuous Improvement – Promote collaboration, innovation, and process improvements within a fast-paced, small business environment
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience – 2+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Program Manager (experience in manufacturing or automation a plus). 3-5 years of experience working in an technical organization.

- Skills –
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent)
- Ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Comfort working in a 90+ associate small business environment with integrated manufacturing
- Certification – CSM, PSM, or equivalent preferred

- Work across diverse engineering disciplines on projects that blend software, robotics, and precision hardware
