The Admin Meeting Monitoring team is building next-generation Meeting Monitoring, Notifications, and Insights Platform that powers timely, reliable, and secure notifications across Microsoft Teams Admin experiences. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing full stack solutions that enable rich notification capabilities, meeting health diagnostics, and actionable insights. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable services using modern cloud technologies.
- Build responsive and engaging front-end experiences using React (or equivalent frameworks), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Architect, build, and maintain UX component libraries that adhere to modern web standards and accessibility guidelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and partner teams to define and deliver end-to-end features.
- Own and improve service reliability, observability, and performance metrics across both front-end and back-end.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with a focus on security, privacy, and engineering excellence.
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of learning, inclusion, and team building, and drive cross-team collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 7+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages.
- Design and implement full-stack solutions using modern frameworks and 4+yrs in fullstack using front-end components with React, TypeScript and Backend C, C++, C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript,
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, Foundry SDK, and Responsible AI practices.
- Experience in building enterprise-scale applications with high availability and performance.
- Exposure to Teams-specific engineering systems like Telemetry, Gate Infra, and Build Infra.
- Knowledge of mobile platform development (iOS/Android) and cross-platform optimisation.
- Contributions to open-source or developer communities.
