Full-timeAnalyst, Marketing

Do you have a strong maths or stats background and want to apply it to complex marketing challenges? Or maybe you’re an analyst ready to take the leap into data science? This is your chance to work on some of the biggest questions in marketing: What’s working, what’s not, and why?

At Atomic 212°, we’re not your average media agency. We started as a performance media and search marketing specialist, but we’ve evolved into an award-winning agency that combines creativity, technology, and data to deliver exceptional results across all media channels. From big-picture strategies to granular campaign execution, accountability and innovation are in our DNA. We work with major global and Australian brands across industries, delivering solutions that inspire and perform.

Now part of Publicis Groupe, you will join one of the world’s most progressive and dynamic modern communications businesses and enjoy the benefits that come with the network – from extensive Learning & Development opportunities, additional leave benefits, to a strong culture of connection and collaboration across our entire network.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone curious, analytical, and excited to tackle complex marketing challenges. You might already be working as a Data Scientist, or you could be an Analyst with a strong maths or statistics background who’s ready to step up.

It’s not about crunching numbers for the sake of it – it’s about uncovering insights that directly shape media strategy and client outcomes. You’ll join a collaborative, growing data team where your contributions will be visible, valued, and make a real impact.

You’ll thrive if you:

  • Have a maths, stats, computer science or similar background (comfort with calculus and linear algebra is a plus)
  • Are confident coding in Python (or motivated to sharpen your skills quickly)
  • Can apply critical thinking and statistical rigour to validate outputs
  • Are genuinely interested in using data to solve marketing problems
  • Bring energy, a collaborative spirit, and the willingness to have a laugh while working hard towards shared goals

What will your day to day look like?

In this role, you’ll be hands-on with data, turning complex information into clear, actionable insights that guide marketing decisions. On a typical day, you might:

  • Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, customer behaviours, and opportunities to optimise marketing strategies
  • Use Python and relevant packages for advanced analyses, including customer segmentation, lifetime value analysis, market basket analysis, and marketing mix modelling
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance internal Python packages to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms that improve marketing performance
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Python visualisation tools to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Design and run A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of marketing initiatives
  • Stay up to date with the latest tools, trends, and best practices in marketing analytics and data science

What will set you up for success?

  • Technical foundations – experience with Python (packages like scikit-learn, statsmodels, Lifetimes, PyMC) and visualisation libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Dash)
  • Maths & stats mindset – strong understanding of statistical methods, experimentation, causal analysis, or hypothesis testing
  • Communication skills – ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies for clients and internal teams
  • Bonus points if you’ve used tools like Robyn or Meridian, or have experience with Git workflows

But above all, it’s your curiosity, hunger to learn, and drive to make an impact that will make you successful here. If you have the maths background and the motivation, we’ll support you in building the rest.

Why Join Atomic 212°?

  • Collaborate with passionate, talented colleagues on a variety of exciting projects.
