Job Type: 4 Months Contract
Job Location: Sydney
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analysing and assessing damage to the data/infrastructure as a result of security incidents, and examining available recovery tools and processes, and recommending solutions
- investigating available tools and countermeasures to remedy and detected vulnerabilities and recommending solutions and best practices.
- analysing and assessing vulnerabilities in the infrastructure (software, hardware, networks)
- Track remediation of risk and changes in risk levels; and
- Identify any new risk & work with stakeholders and manage their life cycles.
- Support the Security Operations, Data Governance, and Risk & Compliance teams as needed
- Support the enforcement and awareness of security policies, standards, and procedures across the organisation
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A degree in IT or cybersecurity is preferred
- Professional Certifications Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or others are highly valued.
- Understanding of networks, systems, applications, and Cloud technologies
