Within our team you will test a web-based image analysis platform for cloud-based AI (Artificial Intelligence) analysis of retina scans. You can help us bring together the most advanced technologies in computer and medical sciences and prevent loss of eyesight in patients with retinal diseases.


YOUR NEW ROLE

As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. This position requires both manual and automation testing skills, with a strong emphasis on manual testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to catch issues early, ensure product stability, and continuously improve our testing processes.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Test Case Design: Write, review, and maintain test cases to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Test Execution: Perform both manual (primary) and automated test cases to identify issues.
  • Defect Reporting and Verification: Accurately document bugs and track them through to resolution.
  • Test Data Preparation: Analyze, define, and generate realistic and relevant test data.


OUR TECHNOLOGY SET

  • Python as the most used programming language in our backend
  • React for single-page Web applications
  • AWS as Cloud Computing Platform
  • Playwright for test automation
  • Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence), Xray for test case tracking and report
  • Database Postgres


YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing, with at least one year focused on Test Automation.
  • Prior experience with test automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress
  • Structured and analytical work approach
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Ability to collaborate with a wide group of stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing and contributing to user stories and acceptance criteria


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman
  • Knowledge of Performance Testing
  • Experience with Python

You can expect a salary starting at EUR 42.224,00 per year (on full-time basis, 38,5 hours/week based on the collective agreement) with the willingness to overpay according to your qualification and responsibility.
