We are looking for a Baltic Information Security Manager to join our team in Kaunas, Riga, or Tallinn.
As the Baltic Information Security Manager, you will work in close collaboration with the leaders of the PHOENIX Group’s Cyber and Information Security departments to ensure the effective adoption and implementation of the group’s information security strategy across the Baltics. You will coordinate and support the activities of local security coordinators in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, focusing on the operational rollout of security policies, procedures, and initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate communication, monitor compliance, and drive the execution of security tasks to protect the company’s assets, data, and reputation, working closely with stakeholders at all Baltic sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Pan-Baltic information security strategy by adopting and operationalising Phoenix Group information and cyber security policies across the Baltics.
- Serve as the operational liaison between PHOENIX Group and local security coordinators, supporting daily cyber security operations across the Baltics.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 and other relevant security standards.
- Conduct IT risk assessments and support mitigation activities.
- Oversee incident management and disaster recovery processes.
- Deliver security awareness training to employees.
- Maintain records of policy adoption and compliance.
- Support audits, risk assessments, and incident response.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between Phoenix Group and local teams.
- Organise and participate in regular security meetings.
- Provide backup support for Local Security Coordinators as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in information security operations, IT security coordination, or a similar role.
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
- Preferred/Advantageous familiarity with business continuity (ISO 22301) and risk management (ISO 31000) standards and frameworks.
- Understanding of security policy implementation, risk management, and incident response.
- Experience with security compliance, audit support, and operational reporting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple countries and teams.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Baltic languages is an advantage.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on operational issues independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Willingness to travel within the Baltic region as required.
