Senior Fullstack Developer (~80-90 k/y, Helsinki-FI, HYBRID)

Join our interesting customer development project team.

We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer (with a strong backend focus) to join our client in retail. The initial responsibility will be the integration of a new platform with one of the Product Hubs, focusing on product and offer data. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver robust, scalable integrations and help lay the technical foundation for future capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend integrations between the new platform and the client's Product Hub, especially for product and offer data flows.
• Develop and maintain APIs and data pipelines for catalog, pricing, and availability.
• Collaborate with architects and product owners to refine technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Ensure data consistency, security, and performance across distributed systems.
• Participate in code reviews, technical workshops, and architecture discussions.
• Support the team in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing integration processes.
• Work on-site in Helsinki as part of the core development team.

Required:

• Strong backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway).
• Proficiency in Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Infrastructure-as-code skills with Terraform.
• API design and integration: Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with API authentication and security best practices.
• Data modeling and ETL: Experience designing and implementing data pipelines, transformations, and synchronization between systems.
• Testing and quality assurance: Experience with automated testing frameworks and performance monitoring.
• Excellent collaboration skills: Ability to work in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems and e-commerce data flows.
• Experience working in agile teams and with consultancy partners.
• Experience from greenfield projects
• Experience from retail sector
