Frontend Architect
Summary: The Frontend Architect is a hands-on expert responsible for establishing best practices and technical standards for all web and mobile (iOS) application development within the internal Factory. This individual will focus on designing reusable, high-performance, and visually consistent user interfaces and components, particularly supporting the internal-facing apps and low-code/no-code initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a reusable component library and technical standards for iOS and modern web applications (likely Java-based)
- Lead rapid prototyping and development for two-to-four-week quick-win projects, using approaches like low-code/no-code (e.g., Power Apps) or vibe coding.
- Ensure scalability and performance readiness for all frontend solutions.
- Define and govern the front-end technology stack and integration patterns with backend services.
- Mentor and support the developers in the Factory squads.
- Required Experience - 7+ years in frontend development, with at least 3 years as an Architect or Lead on enterprise-level mobile and web applications.
Technical Skillsets -
- Mobile: Expert in iOS development (Swift/Objective-C).
- Web: Deep expertise in a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and associated tooling.
- Low-Code/Prototyping: Practical experience with Microsoft Power Apps/Power BI
- Databricks web apps or similar low-code platforms for rapid prototyping.
- Development: Strong experience with visual management and fast-paced development dynamics.
