Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• We are seeking a skilled full-time Backend Software Engineer to maintain, enhance, and extend our REST-like web server built with Java.
• You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our backend systems while collaborating closely with front-end developers and product teams.
• Design, develop, and document new backend features and services.
• Optimize server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with front-end applications and third-party APIs.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and robustness.
• Participate in code reviews, propose technical improvements, and follow best practices in API design and security.
  
  

Your profile

• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API principles and HTTP protocols.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with Git and Maven.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative environment
