At Softeta, we are searching for a skilled Senior Python Engineer to join a small agile team of developers to take on a foundational role in our US based client future. The team will be responsible for a greenfield project to build a new payment processing platform from the ground up, moving away from existing systems to create a modern, scalable, and efficient solution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and sustain a reliable payment solution built on Python
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Python
- Proficiency with web frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Familiarity with database systems, especially PostgreSQL, is preferred
- Familiarity with any modern JavaScript framework and Typescript.
- Familiarity with public cloud services, with a preference for AWS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Diverse and technically challenging projects
- Training budget for professional and personal growth
- Capability to oversee a team of Python engineers
- Flexible working hours and a hybrid or remote workplace model
- Flexible schedule and an Agile/SCRUM environment
- Technical equipment that you can choose
- For employees: 5500 EUR to 7000 EUR monthly (gross)
- For contractors: 38 EUR to 45 EUR per hour (plus VAT)
