Our flagship product, Worksober.com, is a biometric sobriety check system powered by computer vision and AI. It identifies employees and verifies sobriety before and after work, ensuring safety and boosting productivity in industries such as construction, manufacturing, agriculture, security, and transportation. Every day, more than 500 companies in Lithuania rely on our systems to test over 250,000 employees. Our solutions are also expanding abroad, including in the UK, Poland, and other EU countries.

The Role

We are looking for a Mid-levelFirmware Developer to join our growing and friendly team of 28 colleagues. You will work closely with a senior FW developer to create and improve smart IoT devices (alcohol testers) that integrate with our cloud services.

You’ll be working with:

• Modern microcontrollers
• Cameras, displays, GSM, WiFi, LAN module
• Various peripheral devices

You will have the freedom to implement creative solutions, work closely with customer service and sales teams, and immediately see the impact of your work.

What You'll Do

• Develop new features for our smart alcohol testers and related IoT devices
• Improve firmware quality and stability
• Coordinate device integration with the Cloud team
• Perform initial testing of implemented changes
• Support customer service in troubleshooting device-related issues
• Collaborate with hardware engineers in product development

What We're Looking For

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of C programming
• Understanding of microcontroller architecture, interrupts, memory types, and peripherals
• Experience writing drivers (UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, PWM, etc.)
• Familiarity with RTOS basics
• Git version control proficiency
• Hands-on debugging: soldering, using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
• Basic electronics knowledge
• Ability to read and apply English technical documentation
