About The Team
You will be a part of a growing mobile and frontend team, working closely with UK counterparts in an agile, collaborative environment. The team is undergoing a major transformation to strengthen its mobile-first capabilities, integrating new technologies like server-driven UI, Firebase (through a Google partnership), and AI-powered features.
You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions in an agile environment across mobile and web platforms, driving innovation and raising engineering standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior/Lead Mobile Engineer, you will take on a role within a cross-functional frontend team that's focused on delivering modern, high-impact user experiences across mobile and web platforms. While the team's direction is increasingly mobile-first—driven by technologies like React Native, server-driven UI, and Firebase - you will also work closely with existing and emerging web interfaces, ensuring a cohesive approach to multi-platform development. Your day-to-day will involve building robust, scalable features in React Native, guiding best practices, and helping to evolve the team's mobile development standards.
You'll play an important part in shaping mobile architecture decisions and integrating with cloud-based services (especially GCP). You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ship high-quality, performant apps, while also mentoring others through code reviews and technical discussions. Additionally, you'll contribute to CI/CD improvements, testing (with tools like Detox), and performance optimisations. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to influence technology direction while staying close to the code.
Requirements
Salary: Depending on experience (full-time employment, no B2B contracts)
Senior position: from €6,000/month gross;
Lead position: from €8,000/month gross.

Requirements
- Proven experience building and scaling mobile apps using React Native and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, testing, and performance optimisation.
- Experience with mobile-specific tools such as Expo, EAS, Detox/Appium, and Firebase.
- Solid background integrating with cloud services (preferably GCP) and microservice-based APIs.
- Familiarity with architectural concepts such as API-first design, Domain-Driven Design, and design systems.
- Exposure to web technologies, ideally with hands-on experience using React
- Bonus: Experience with native iOS/Android (Swift or Kotlin).
- Passion for clean code, great UX, and inclusive, high-performance applications.
- Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
