The Opportunity
Architus is partnering with one of the fastest growing Fintechs in Europe named Tide who have recently established a branch in Lithuania. You would be employed directly by Tide, joining a group of 30 engineers who already work for the company in Lithuania.
At Tide, they are building a finance platform designed to save small businesses time and money. Tide provides members with business accounts and related banking services, but also a comprehensive set of connected administrative solutions from invoicing to accounting.
Launched in 2017, Tide is now used by over 1 million small businesses across the world and is available to UK, Indian and German SMEs. Headquartered in central London, with offices in Sofia, Hyderabad, Delhi, Berlin and Belgrade, Tide employs over 2000 employees.
About The Role
As a Lead Product Manager for Tide's global payment services, you will drive strategy and execution for digital payments across Europe and India.
You're an experienced Product Manager with a broad skill set - driven, analytical, commercial and strategic with a passion for using technology to deliver great card products, features and experiences for our businesses. You are resolutely customer-focused and recognize the importance of truly understanding what matters to customers, constantly obsessing about customers.
You will be responsible for building and scaling a platform that enables SMEs to seamlessly send, receive, and manage money. Your mission is to create a frictionless financial experience that empowers small businesses to operate efficiently, stay in control of their finances, and grow with confidence.
You'll be working alongside experienced product professionals and hand-in-hand with senior developers, data scientists, designers, and marketers to research, build, ship and improve the product. You will be commercially focused and you will need a good understanding of data and ability to make decisions based on those metrics. You will be evaluating a competitive space and striving to continuously improve our position in the market.
As a Lead Product Manager you'll
- Develop and drive the product vision & strategy within our card issuing business in the UK/EU, aligned with the company's overall objectives and targets
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product decisions
- Drive the product-led cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch and eventual value realisation, while ensuring timely delivery and quality
- Priorities product features and enhancements based on market requirements, customer feedback, and business goals
- Create and maintain a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with near- & medium-term business objectives and long-term vision
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, risk, marketing and other product teams, to ensure a coordinated product strategy and successful launches
- Define and scope new product ideas leveraging internal technology and external vendor solutions
- Cultivate a seamless customer experience by ensuring the smooth functioning of automated and manual processes
- Lead by example: you will be hands on, take ownership for business metrics and product KPIs and play a pivotal role in bringing all stakeholders onboard
- Responsible for working with the finance team during our quarterly forecasting cycles
- Responsible for driving revenue growth through insights, developing and delivering product features, creating product efficiencies and enhancements to the customer experience and along customer journeys
- You have 5+ years of experience in payments product Management with proven experience working with agile/scrum delivery teams
- Deep expertise in payments and connectivity, particularly bank payments, with extensive experience in fintechs or banks across global markets
- Strong understanding of fund flows, transaction settlement, and reconciliation involving multiple parties
- You're a product evangelist: obsessed with the end user, well-versed in best in class product research and development practices and are willing to share your knowledge with other product owners
- Leadership acumen and a desire to mentor and manage fellow PMs
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities and pioneering new processes
- You have Technical knowledge and experience with API-based products
- Strong understanding of the latest payment scheme rules & wider regulations in global markets and can articulate risk implications of card products
- A proactive "can-do" attitude, adept at multitasking and achieving results
- Commercial experience is driving growth revenue and have a strong understanding of the card revenue drivers across the cards flywheel
- Strong communication skills and have the ability to communicate to stakeholders at different levels
- Gross monthly salary between 5675 and 8800 EUR, depending on skills and experience
