We are seeking a few dynamic Back End Engineers for a permanent position for one of our clients in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Must be Dutch speaking.

We’re looking for engineers with a background in back-end development or server-side environments who are excited to grow their careers in the emerging fields of AI, agentic systems, and low-code automation.

What You’ll Bring:

• Commercial experience (or strong foundational knowledge, for junior applicants) in back-end software development or server engineering (C#, .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, or similar)
• A good understanding of how back-end systems work from deployment/integration to troubleshooting and optimisation
• Experience working with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure, or a willingness to learn cloud technologies quickly
• Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and how services connect and communicate
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and building services that handle data at scale
• A desire to solve complex problems and build reliable, scalable systems

Nice to Have (or Learn Here):

• Exposure to or interest in RPA tools such as UiPath or Blue Prism
• Curiosity about AI, agentic systems, and intelligent automation (no direct experience required - support will be provided in developing these skills)
• Interest in low-code or no-code platforms and how they can connect to and extend backend systems
• Experience or interest in event-driven architectures, microservices, or system orchestration
